5.0 out of 5 stars Inspirational Quotes from the Cayce Readings, November 21, 2007
This review is from: Treasures from earth's storehouse: Based on The Edgar Cayce readings (Paperback)
I love this book. A friend gave it to me as a gift. What a lovely gift!

The book is full of inspirational quotations from the Cayce readings on various naturally occurring substances and their effect on the human body. For example, do you know that coffee provides more food value than tea? That apples are easier on the body eaten cooked rather than raw? That calcium taken in potato peelings, seafood, and eggs is more easily assimilated in the body than from calcium pills? Or, that wearing the fire opal can help to protect a person from being sensitive to other's vibrations? Or that, no matter what the season, flowers and their aroma can be most beneficial around certain people?

I love this book because it is full of not only helpful suggestions but also the spirit of hope. Plus, I appreciate that some of the difficult wording of the Cayce quotes is explained by the author. In addition, like The Edgar Cayce Handbook for Health Through Drugless Therapy, I like that actual Cayce readings are quoted with the reading numbers.

This is the book I turned to when selecting inspirational quotations to use in the Divine in Nature: With Quotes from Edgar Cayce. Cayce's words on seeing the divine in nature resonate with inspiration, joy, and spirit.

Very highly recommended.
