I'm not one for horror, I'm not even sure why I originally bought the book but it remains a favorite. The stories are a mix of classic and contemporary and well balance in style and length. I bought it in the late 80s and its come out every couple of years for a re-read, now that's a sign of a keeper. My mate reads the book more often than I do so it doesn't seem to be specific to just my tastes. Purchase the book and you will not be disappointed, may loose some sleep reading into the night but you won't regret purchasing the book!
