The Goops make teaching manners fun. We can all use books like this in our homes and of course it is great for small children.

I was so thrilled to find this book is still being printed!!! I have sent one to all the children for Xmas!! When I was much younger, the GOOP books were a great referance on how to be NOT a GOOP!! I dearly loved these books as did my mother, who shared them with us all. They are a book to keep forever, whenever you want to smile:) the drawings make it a super special!! For children of all ages:)

I am a strong believer in teaching children the importance of proper manners and polite behavior at an early age. But all too often, in our increasingly fast-paced society, the character development of our youth is left to the likes of Bart Simpson and M-TV. I am delighted to have found this wonderful book which illustrates manners in such a humorous fashion. It makes a wonderful addition to our "kid-safe" family library.

The Goops have been a staple in many households for over a century. What a pleasant surprise it is to find them with expanded illustrations in color, re-introduced for a new generation of children. I'll suggest this book to any of my friends and family with children - it is the consummate gift that gives back. As the book claims, learning manners CAN be fun!
