Originally supposed to be a limited release to tide fans over between album number one (Songbook) and the upcoming release (Die Stadt Muzikanten), the accolades this album got prompted a much wider release. And we should be very grateful for that. The band is another of Canada's tradition of ensembles (think Arcade Fire or Broken Social Scene). A great album, particularly the tracks "Anna, Girl in the Clocktower", "Piano Pieces For Adult Beginners" and the ludicrously named "In The Battle of Sun vs. Curtains, Sun Loses and We Sleep Until Noon" think of buying it if you like Belle and Sebastian, the Decemberists, or Sufjan Stevens.
