This review is from: Treasury of Wall Street Wisdom (Hardcover)
This book is an excellent compilation on the writings of the legends of Wall Street up to 1966(when it was originally published). You will find all the greats here from Charles Dow himself and his successors to Bernard Baruch, Gerald Loeb, Jesse Livermore, and many others. The book job does a great job of condensing their actually writings down to the most important parts of each traders technique. This is one of the most important books you can get on stock trading, in a short time you can learn in one book what I had to read 10 books to learn. I just wish some one would update it and add in Nicolas Darvas and William O'Neal. To learn about their techniques (They have refined stock rading to close to a science) read John Boik's "Lessons from the greatest stock traders of all time".
