This review is from: A Treasury of Turkish Folktales for Children (Hardcover)
"Once there was, and twice there wasn't." You read the words aloud. A smile on your face because you know another great story is on its way.
I read lot of folktales, partially for interest, partially for research. Turkish folktales are hard to find. I bought the book used. I paid a lot of money for it, and I am very happy. Worthy to stay in my collection instead of next years yard sale. I highly recommend this book. Tricky bears, clever goats, and plentiful pumpkins keep you reading till the end. Not a big book, only 35 stories but very rich tales. A good collection. Find it. Read it. Enjoy it. |
