I'm not from new jersey,
By Scud Johnson (Smoothguyburg, TL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Treat Me Like Someone Else (Audio CD)
Someone mentioned that everyone who gave this album a positive review was from the same area in New Jersey. Well i'm about as far from New Jersey as you can get and I love them. This band is incredible. Lyrically, musically, the vocals...just all around brilliance. I honestly don't have one bad thing to say about this band. This is about the only band i've ever found where I didn't dislike a single song they've ever realeased. Even their songs that aren't on their mp3.com site or on this release and have weak recordings are still great great songs. I guarantee we will be seeing this band all over soon. I hate it when bands sell out, but when you write music this good, selling out is never too far off. Anyway, buy this ablum. Also check out their mp3.com site for more slam dunk songs not on this ablum. Neato.

THE JUNE SPIRIT RULES,
By Jared Greenblatt (Vineland, NJ) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Treat Me Like Someone Else (Audio CD)
Yo people...Im also from Vineland and this band is amazing. They are awesome live and they kick major a$$ in the studio. The people who gave this cd less than 5 stars obviously know nothing about this type of music or they would know that The June Spirit is a killer band.

The June Spirit is the best new emo band out there,
By Patrick Collins (Vineland, NJ United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Treat Me Like Someone Else (Audio CD)
Being from my own home town, I get the chance to hear The June Spirit play. They're a great band. Screw the other jerks who gave them a 1 star. These guys are great. Liste To Ivy League or Subject to change. Come on now. Those songs are better than any NFG songs. Big deal the lyrics might not be Bob Dylan but the music speaks for itself.

The June spirit rocked. Great songs with great messages. "Can we lip sync to this one" has, quite possiblly the best, and most touching lyrics i have ever heard. Do yourself the favor and buy this cd today. The Junespirit should have never broken up.

i think with a better recording these guys could be superb, that's the only thing that let's this cd down, the lack of power.

Favorite CD, band and so forth...,
By Jessica (St. Petersburg, FL USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Treat Me Like Someone Else (Audio CD)
My favorite song on here is number 3. I love the guitar sound at the end and pretty much every thing else about it. I have downloaded other songs from this band online and I thought they were great. If you're looking for a band that'll be big one day and you want to know them before they are, check them out. I talk to the bassist, Dave, and he's "real". He's a really nice guy and I hope I see them in concert soon. Can't wait for Testing Superstition to come out.

The June Spirit rock, that's all.,
By Lesley (Scotland, UK) - See all my reviews

I'd give the song 'Subject to Change' 5 stars alone, but listening to their songs, these guys remind me of The Ataris if not better. If you like sensitive punk and/or emo then these guys are for you!

I'm an extremely intelligent person who does not live in New Jersey (coincidence??) and I happen to find The June Spirit to be quite rockin'. I have definitely heard worse bands in this 'genre'.
