"This is the book for a treatable and beatable mindset for cancer patients or anyone going through a health crisis. A productive read for people who want to improve their lives."--Taylor Hartman, PhD, author of The Color Code and Color Your Future

From Cancer Survivor to Cancer "Thriver"
Cancer can be a new beginning...it does not have to be a nightmare or death sentence. Carolyn Gross's Treatable and Beatable encourages cancer patients to claim their power and explore their options, the moment they are diagnosed.

In 2003, Carolyn was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Determined to find another way, she investigated alternative approaches. This is the story of one woman's triumph in healing stage three breast cancer without surgery.

Today's cancer patients have many treatment options from traditional to alternative that really work. Treatable and Beatable advocates cultivating greater self-awareness, which will help you succeed in any cancer treatment program, with or without surgery.

Carolyn's journey details how her own body destroyed her cancer using immunotherapy and the cancer vaccine. She kept her breast and was spared many of the physical trials traditional patients endure. Within a year, Carolyn's cancer was gone.

Reading this, you will learn:
* A variety of practical and spiritual techniques to ensure successful healing
* How immunotherapy boosts the body's defense system with a tailored cancer vaccine, destroying tumors and leaving healthy cells intact
* Nutritional practices and detoxification rituals that strengthen your immune system

Treatable and Beatable is a vital resource for anyone struggling with a cancer diagnosis and will help you develop a treatable and beatable mindset, leading to lasting health and happiness.

5.0 out of 5 stars Treatable and Beatable, January 17, 2008
This review is from: Treatable and Beatable: Healing Cancer Without Surgery (Perfect Paperback)
Although I do not or have not had cancer, I was able to get so much out of this book. It isn't just for cancer patients. On top of being inspired by the authors chronicled recovery process, there are pages and pages of tips for facing the everyday challenges we all have and coming out a better and healthier person.
Kudos to Ms Gross for gifting us with so many tools to help us live life abundantly and for telling us in words that we can all understand.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Personal Story..., March 29, 2010

This review is from: Treatable and Beatable: Healing Cancer Without Surgery (Perfect Paperback)
I ordered "Treatable and Beatable" because I'm always researching new stories of those who've beaten cancer using natural methods and alternative health. This book is a gold mine of information on how one woman had the courage to take personal responsibility for her own body. My journey started in Nov. 2008 when my 26 year old daughter was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. She wanted to do the chemo because the surgeon and onocologist scared the socks off of her...so, she did do chemo but in the meantime I started researching like a mad woman...I had her taking mangostein and Acai Berry and Warrior Tea BEFORE her surgery and then when she started chemo, we'd wait 3 days for her system to settle down and gave her more anti-oxidants, etc. By spring we had her drinking Pau D'Arco Tea daily, doing the Budwig protocol, taking Medicinal Mushrooms and Transfer Pointe Beta Glucans. Our mission was to preserve her immune system and help it kick back in and do it's job. Bottom line...by last July...her PET scans were ALL CLEAR! and she has refused any more chemo and radiation since last July...she had another scan this past January...still ALL CLEAR! I'm a firm believer that the body wants to heal itself and WILL heal itself given the right "natural" tools to assist it. Carolyn Gross's book has reinforced my families' experience with a cancer diagnosis and how one can face a health crisis and not cave into conventional medicine's fear & death mentality.
