Review by Sam Pink,
This review is from: Treatise (Paperback)
i bought this book when it first came out. it is really good. like his other novels, it details a person living in youngstown trying to empirically work through a lot of philosophical/political problems. the main character quits his lucrative job and "goes down a class." i think this is a really important idea. it is the exact opposite of the american ideal. it says, "just take what you need and be happy with it." it also goes directly against other american ideals, like loving your parents regardless. if more people read this book and followed its ideas, there were be more happiness.

I really enjoyed this book quite a bit...
It's a very quick read and contains a lot of information and ideas but in my opinion it never feels arduous or boring. Check it out...

Noah Cicero needs an editor.
Also, he is brilliant and should be read by more people than he is. |
