5.0 out of 5 stars Osker-The BEST band on Epitaph (besides Rancid...sorry)!
Osker is, I have to say, one of the best bands I've ever heard in the whole 13 years I've been alive. They have very well written songs with great meanings. They have a smoothe sound of today's punk with a small but GREAT sound of old school. I HIGHLY recommend this cd. If youy don't have it, BUY IT!

1.0 out of 5 stars the kids kid dynamite beat up in school
If you want a band that is about to play their schools battle of the bands, here ya go. This is what happens when you sign a bunch of kids still in high school and your not d.b.s from Canada. Lyrically, alot of whining and selfpity. I've heard emo with more meaningful anger(now thats insulting). Buy the New Bomb turks, Down by Law, hell buy the Rezillos. Borrow this...

the best hardcore/melodic group out there (except for Pulley) the best songs are Useless, Alright, Panic, Stop The Bus, Lucky, Numbskull, those titles i cant name because of the names, and Radio. The guys can play instruments and have very catchy tunes. no other band can top what these guys can do. BUY IT!

"This is an awesome debut album from a great band. The songs are ones that I can relate to, as the singer, Devon Williams is just out of high school.

5.0 out of 5 stars So many great things to say for only 30 minutes of music, July 12, 2003
This review is from: Treatment 5 (Audio CD)
I cant really put what osker means to me in words. Its such a shame they had to disband and fall apart. But in those few years and only two albums they have changed me and made me think a lot. Idle will kill is a wonderfull and well written piece of work that music wise tops Treatment 5. But the singers vocals and lyrics really shine through here. 18 songs of nothing but the truth, teenage angst, and the most pure, beautiful screams of pain and emotion i have ever heard. Every word this man screams out in his raspy, withered voice relates to some sitituion or feeling i have had. Some examples:
"Heartbroken i watched, the rain beat on the sidewalk. Complete with grey skys, and headlight and puddles on the side walk everyones ruined like me"-13

So i thank osker for there great music it really has done a lot for me and many other people out there. Osker is not a band your mom will like and that just makes it even better. Some may say anyone can do that, or big deal anyone can play a power chord and scream real fast. But if you listen to osker over and over and really break down there music and lyrics you will find there so much more than that. Osker will live on forever, in my CD player at least. So go do yourself a favor and get Treatment 5, nah to hell with it get Treatment 5 and Idle will kill at the same time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Osker- Treatment 5 Is A Great Album, February 16, 2003
This review is from: Treatment 5 (Audio CD)
Osker has been my favorite band for a few years now. I started off with their sophomore release, Idle Will Kill, and loved it so much that I decided to search for Treatment 5. I could not find Treatment 5 in stores, however, so I was forced to order it online. Each song is packed with aggression and emotion. I find it very interesting that this CD was recorded when the vocalist was only 15 years old! The band had a lot of talent. I like their sophomore release more, but this CD is great for relieving stress and the like. I enjoy every song on this CD.

Ok, for the guy who said they just a school punk band. That's bull. This is good punk and easy to relate to. Alot of what they say is true and happens. Alot of it is catchy and hard to stop listening to. This one of best punk bands I've ever heard and there songs do not get old. Buy this album, you wont regret it if you like the new punk.

Seriously, folks, this is one of the best punk cd's that has ever come out to date (besides anything by the clash or rancid). It is its own style that is incredible. The lyrics are great and so is the music. Every song is awesome. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes punk.
