I've always been reluctant to try molasses, let alone blackstrap molasses, but slight anemia while pregnant led me to using this molasses. Now I use it as molasses "tea" -- really just hot water with a tablespoon of blackstrap molasses. It's only 45 calories and it gives you 20% of you RDA of iron. Nice! The taste might take some getting used to, but I like it now. I also use it when I make bread instead of honey or brown sugar. yum! Highly recommended.

I didn't know black strap molasses is good for improving iron for anyone who is anemic this may be a god send. I understand its quite bitter and takes a little getting used to. Thinking of ordering a bottle for myself.
