Definitely not light reading,

This review is from: The Tree that Bends: Discourse, Power, and the Survival of Maskoki People (Paperback)
Be prepared to read this book in multiple sittings. It is hard core academic writing, filled with jargon and lingo of the field. So much so that it is often hard for a layman to follow. Despite this, I found it to be seemingly well researched and informative. It is written from a refreshing change of perspective as well.
