great little book!
This is a great little book! I've tried to use the formal, comprehensive books to ID trees before, and failed embarrassingly. ;) This book shows actual pictures of the trees, which helps enormously. Thanks to this book I actually know what most of the trees growing in our woods are! I'd highly recommend it to any tree-identifying newbie. :)

The worst field guide I've ever seen
Impossible to identify anything from many photos in this book. They could be trees or they could something else. Who could tell? Terrible photos. No description or graphics about the shape of the mature trees. I wish I hadn't bought it.
