Where is the tree?,
By Alette (California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Trees of Minnesota Field Guide (Field Guides) (Paperback)
There are no pictures of full trees. Just leaves and nuts. That is all fine if you are touching 'em, but no good when in your car or bicycle or kayak looking out at the trees. You can't very well touch and feel and smell 50 feet away.

I love this guide. My friends and coworkers always want to borrow it. I'd love to see Stan Tekiela write a field guide on dragonflies of Minnesota. Or maybe one on invasive or non native plants, weeds, etc?

I use this book frequently up north at our lake home. Just the right amount of detail for someone just curious about the trees in the forest.

Quick, easy guide to trees of Minnesota. Not as detailed as some guides, but the size makes it easy to carry along.

I keep this book along with the Minnesota Wildflowers and Minnesota Birds in my bathroom up north. I use them as a reference all the time. I especially like the bird and wildflower book. I didnt realize how many wildflowers were in my area until I got the book.

I really can't review this attempted purchase as the seller didn't have the book in stock after all.
