About the Author
George A. Petrides has served as a ranger-naturalist for Yosemite, Glacier, and Denali National Parks. He is the author of five Peterson Field Guides, including A Field Guide to Western Trees. He lives in Williamston, Michigan. Olivia Petrides is adjunct professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her illustrations appeared in A Field Guide to Western Trees. She lives in Chicago, Illinois.
