This review is from: Trees & Other Poems (Hardcover)
On the whole, the book was beautiful. Emotionally moving at all times. Inspiring. "Trees" is one of Kilmer's best known peices, but the gems glowing within the rest of these pages are priceless. "Poets", "To A Young Poet Who Killed Himself", "Love's Lantern", "Vision", "As Winds That Blow Against A Star", "Citizen Of The World", "The House With Nobody In It", 24 more. His humble honesty, incredible insight, and several works dedicated to his wife, Aline, move you to feel yourself within the pages. Truly a work of a master in his realm of truth. A must read for any poetry lover.
