Product Description

Some days are just like fairy tales. You wake up a normal teenager in NYC, but by dinner time you find out you’re a fairy princess. Meckenzie Desmond’s life took that turn as she and her triplet brother and sister find out that their mother, who disappeared when they were ten, is the fairy queen and they are meant to rule the world of Aquanis. Like every fairy tale, there is an evil lurking in the shadows to make sure there are no happy ever afters.

From the Author

Someone asked me, why should I read "Trefoil".  That is a very good question, with all the books in the era of self publishing, why would you choose to read my book.
Read "Trefoil" because you are slightly fascinated by the occult, you love adventure, fantasy, and the thought that, there is always more out there than what you can see with your eyes.  Read my book because you want to be entertained and surprised and most importantly because you too are a Fae loving fanatic.  Relax and surround yourself with intrigue, action, adventure, discovery, magic, and romance. There is a character that you will love, a character you will hate, and character you will want to marry.  Of course each reader will have their own favorites, but there is one particular character that I have fashioned after my brother, and he is my favorite.

Great young adult fiction! As a teacher, I am constantly looking for books I enjoy that I can recommend to my adolescent students. While this book was filled with action and intrigue, it was appropriate for readers of all ages. Kudos M C Moore.... bring on Aquanis!

I really enjoyed this novel. I found it well-written and entertaining. Excellent Fae references for those of us who are hardcore Fantasy and Gaelic literature fans. You definitely can't beat the price, but now of course I want to read the second novel, so hurry please author!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Start!, November 22, 2011
This review is from: Trefoil (Kindle Edition)
This is a very enjoyable novel from an author who has a way of pulling you right into another world. The story never lags, and while there are a few editing mistakes, they aren't so glaringly obnoxious they turn me off wanting to read another installment to the series. I couldn't stop reading and I am ready to read about the triplets in Aquanis!

More About the Author

M C Moore lives in Southern California, but the journey for her started in a small town in West Texas. She learned in her youth the power of imagination, while being raised on the plains, five miles from the nearest town. Spending days playing with her cousins and brother in games of imagination and invention, M C got her first taste of creating lands of make believe.

When adulthood took its grip on her life, she traveled all over the country and learned lots about her fellow human counterparts. With the desire to create those make believe lands again, M C decided to try her hand at script writing, but something wasn't quite right. So after several years, she decided to write her first book. The young adult fantasy genre called her name and she created the world of 'Trefoil'.

In a recent interview, MC had this to say about herself:

"I guess you could say I have the personality of a fourteen year old video gaming, fantasy fiction reading, math loving nerd girl. I got my glasses when I was nine, had an Atari growing up, and loved reading. I grew up in West Texas, in the country, five miles from a town with only four thousand people in it. I have one brother but a lot of cousins, and we grew up together. I'm the oldest, and therefore the bossiest, so I used to make up games and adventures for us. That's really were I got my start with creating imaginary worlds.

The adventure always called to me, so I moved around a lot as an adult, seeing lots of different parts of the US. I think I was looking for the inspiration for those imaginary worlds, or the imaginary worlds themselves. I finally ended up in Southern California, with a fantastic job in a library. That's when I started throwing book ideas around, it all started making sense, I needed to write.

I think I always wanted to write, I just couldn't find out where I was supposed to be, what genre. I think that the young adult fantasy genre is where I'll probably write most of my books. That is where the Atari loving 14 year old nerd girl belongs."
