Great young adult fiction! As a teacher, I am constantly looking for books I enjoy that I can recommend to my adolescent students. While this book was filled with action and intrigue, it was appropriate for readers of all ages. Kudos M C Moore.... bring on Aquanis!

I really enjoyed this novel. I found it well-written and entertaining. Excellent Fae references for those of us who are hardcore Fantasy and Gaelic literature fans. You definitely can't beat the price, but now of course I want to read the second novel, so hurry please author!!!!

This is a very enjoyable novel from an author who has a way of pulling you right into another world. The story never lags, and while there are a few editing mistakes, they aren't so glaringly obnoxious they turn me off wanting to read another installment to the series. I couldn't stop reading and I am ready to read about the triplets in Aquanis!

While this novel does have some editing problems and some grammatical mistakes, the reader is able to overlook those problems and be exposed to a well-told and laid-out story that is entertaining and a page turner. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading Aquanis (the next book in the series).

I came across this book in the Free section of the Amazon Kindle Book Store. It was the title and cover that originally captured my interest and also the fact that it was free. I didn't put much of anything into it at first because the description didn't really capture me either, but the fact that it was free, I figured why not give it a go? I'm glad I did! The book needs some serious proofreading and necessary adjustments to spelling, grammar and overall presentation, but the story itself is excellent! I couldn't put it down and when it was over, I wanted more! So I went straight to purchasing the second installment for Kindle. I didn't even mind that it was $2.99! I'm low on funds, that's why I'm being so hard on the price. If I could afford it though, I would buy the full priced paperback book! This is an excellent read that will keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more! Give it a go!

Trefoil is a really great young adult fiction and fantasy novel. The characters are very well developed, and I found myself getting completely lost in the book. Being able to loose yourself in another place is what reading is all about. I can't wait for the next installment so I can continue the adventure with my new friends :)

Don't read this book if you care for good grammar and spelling.,

The book was an O.K. read, if you take only the story itself into account. I get the basic idea behind it and I can see where the author was trying to go with it. But a proper editor would have helped the author out of all the repetitions and gotten a better flow into the storyline. Also, and this is what bothered me extremely while reading the book, it seems nobody proofread the text before just throwing it out there at the reader. I felt like screaming the whole time because of all the mistakes - grammar as well as spelling. Half the time it felt like the author had just spoken the story into some language-to-text device and the machine wrote down whatever it understood. People's names change (Doreen and Dorian, Ardan and Arden, Meckenzie and McKenzie), words are misspelt (currier instead of courier, there instead of their, were instead of where, etc.). And you'll find sentences where you'll have to guess the meaning because of all the missing commas (and periods and apostrophes). Horrible to read... |
