I was skeptical to purchase this because of it's low price and unique design. I can safely say that my fears are gone. This thing is built like a tank. From the packaging to construction quality to design, this things screams quality. It easily holds up my 7D with battery pack, 2 batteries, 320 Ex flash and 24-105L lens. A great buy for a small package and a small price. I will now be looking at their full size tripod. This is the best camera accessory under $20 I have ever purchased.

Unimpressed with this item.
Poor screw tightening on ball head screw. Pro version with lever action tightening might be better but I have wasted my money on this Trek-Tech T-Pod.

I am impressed with the quality of the T-Pod. I am using mine as a stabilizer with a Canon HV20 camcorder with a heavy wide angle lens. I wasn't sure if this was going to work since the website is more focused on HDSLR cameras; but not an issue at all. The camera fits nicely on the T-Pod and when used as a tripod it is very stable.
