Possibly the coolest USB bottle opener ever,

I waited several months for this to ship from the first time I saw it on uberreview. It was worth the wait.Positive -Lightweight, clean design with an attractive brushed finish. -Does not raise eyebrows with airport security -Great conversation starter among beer drinkers / tech crowd Not so positive -Keyring hole is in the middle of the business end of the opener. It flexes when opening a bottle and if attached to a key ring the ring complicates fitting the opener over a cap. Maybe a hard anodized finish would help. -Just a tad long when plugged in to a USB drive I opened a few bottles to try it out and decided this will probably be my backup opener. I'll leave the heavy lifting to a dedicated kitchen tool. Still love it and would recommend it.

I have opened countless bottles with this thing and it has never showed any signs of giving out. I honestly carry it everywhere with me. It's a great way to solidify my status not only as a beer drinker, but as a geek.I will agree with the guy who said it's a bit long when it sticks out of a USB port, but that's a small price to pay for something this awesome. File transfer speeds are average for a flash drive. If this suddenly broke, I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Well done, Trekstor!

I too waited for months to receive my drive after learning of it's existence. You are paying for the uniqueness, not the capacity. 2G for $30 is steep, but c'mon! How cool!I will ditto the reviewer before me as far as pro's and con's. |
