3.0 out of 5 stars A lot of math, without a lot of practical explanation., September 29, 2000

This review is from: Trellis Coding (Hardcover)
This book covered trellis coding, and has a good chapter on turbo codes (written by Lance Perez). If you are mathematically inclined, want to know derivation proofs, or need to find out about turbo coding, this book is for you. If you are looking for an intuitive explanation of trellis coding you had better shop elsewhere.
