On the back of the book it says: The Enterprise has rushed to war-torn Trellisane! Kirk is on the bridge of a Klingon warship, McCoy is dining with cannibals, and the ship is surrounded by Romulans. In the Neutral Zone, power is up for grabs. Now only the ingenuity and raw courage of the Enterprise crew can avert a catastrophe!Sounds good, but does not sufficiently describe the exciting story. There are also dangerous assassins involved and nurse Chapel has a very intimate encounter with a dangerous alien. One of the best STOS stories I ever read. I could not put the book down but at the same time hated getting closer to the last page. |
