A wickedly clever historical novel,
By Fran (Brookyn, NY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: A Trembling Upon Rome (Paperback)
A Trembling Upon Rome is a wickedly clever historical novel, that is not for the faint hearted or for the deeply devout. It is historically accurate and when you're next in Florence, go to the Baptrissery and see the tomb of (the first) Pope John XXIII.
One of (if not) the best of Condon's many brilliant works. Sam Silverman |
