I bought this machine so my son could practice hitting on his own. The machine doesn't throw any balls farther than fifteen feet at max speed. I bought this machine because the description said it could throw any type of ball(whiffle ball, baseball,special pitching machine ball). I tried them all and none of them went farther than fifteen feet with no accuracy. The power and velocity swicth broke shortly there after. I wouldn't recommend this piece of junk or the pitching machine balls to anyone.

Is easy for my 11 year old son to use without me after I help him set it up. Good for practice between team practices, I'm not sure that this actually pitches 45 mph.
