I went by the dimensions in guessing how many flashcards were in this box. Their are only 27 cards that are actual usuable flashcards. There are another 27 that show a close up view of the vehicle in a circle so that you can't tell what it is right away. I guess students or kids have to figure it out. I bought these for my sunday school preschoolers. I think the topic is pretty much covered, but it would have been better to get two sets of 27 whole cards than one whole set and one set of close-ups. If I had known this, I would have made my own giant flashcards for a lot less (when you factor in shipping).
