Be aware that not all Trunki cases are the same - some have 'secret compartments' and elastic bands to hold clothes in place; others do not. Check the product description carefully! We purchased three of them (in different colors) and only one had the items mentioned above. They are cute and get lots of comments but they continually flopped over when pulled and the kids ended up carrying them over their shoulders. They're sturdy, but the plastic clips for the shoulder straps break easily - they are not worth the price.

I purchased a Trunki a year ago when my child was 3 yrs old for a trip to Europe. While mine seemed to be well put together (nothing broke), it had to be maneuvered carefully (no sharp turns) and my daughter (tall for her age) couldn't ride on it for too long because there was nothing for her to rest her feet on.

Before deciding whether to purchase this product, look at the pictures and see how the kids are sitting on it: how long do you think a kid can sit like that? Also, judging by the size of our Trunki (which I think is standard for all models) I would venture to say that the kids in the pictures are smaller than many of their peers.

This product is a really good idea but it needs to be redesigned: make it bigger or include some sort of retractable foot rests; it would also help if they made the "horns" a little bigger and retractable, too and the latches a little more kid-friendly. I think many parents would sacrifice a little inside space for a more comfortable "ride" for the kids. My daughter who is now 4 no longer likes to ride on it because she says it makes her legs hurt. Just by looking at the picture you can see why.

LOVE IT! Although overpriced for quality...perfect fun for a 3 year old with lots of energy and one who loves attention!

Bought this for my 2 1/2 year old boy. He absolutely loved it. It was perfect for those long walks in the airport, he just sits and rides while his mom or I pull him along. It doesn't take much effort to pull and the bag is very sturdily constructed. My only complaint is the orange clasps that keep the bag closed/locked could be constructed better/easier to open.

First, there are two things I don't like about Trunki. One is that it is awkward to pack, as it is a funny shape inside. The other is that I'd like two internal 'nets' to hold the toys in when opening the suitcase. Having said that, Trunki has been invaluable for the last 3 flights I've taken with my nearly 2 year old son. He is happy to ride along for long distances, and it is a lot easier to pull him on Trunki than try and carry him or push a stroller. It doesn't corner well, but he quickly has picked up how to help me turn corners. We actually get through the airport quickly and easily, which is a huge improvement over previous journeys.

I love this item! This is the second Trunki I ordered. First, I had to order it from England because Trunki USA was not yet established. I had great success with my daughter (age 5) since when she was two. I travel a lot, and when she was two, I was pregnant with my second one. So, holding the girl in airport line was getting really hard. So, came the trunki, she had a place to sit, and a toy to ride.

Now my son is two years old, and both kids are avid horse riders (oh, well my daughter is). These kids have great time riding their Trunkis and racing down the airport to the next terminal. The only caution is that they can tip over making sudden turns. My kids are good at holding on the their "mount" and helping Mom with "driving".

Very sturdy, and fits great under the airplane seat. I do not know how I would have managed to travel across the States and the globe without these tiny gems. The kids' also like the fact that they have their own luggage.

This suitcase is worth it's weight in gold. Hands-down. It was a life saver in the airport, big enough to fit the "essentials" in (snacks, juice, blanket, bear, diapers, etc), strong enough not to fall apart when it got dropped, and small enough to carry on without having to "gate check" it.
My son loved it and was more than content to either ride on or be a "big boy" and pull it himself (which slowed him down if he decided to run off!). I highly recommend this for any parent who travels with toddlers...you'll wonder how you ever got by without it!! I know I do!

We bought our trunki in England and travelled with it on multiple flights all around Europe and to the United States and back multiple times. Everyone admired the Trunki particularly because my two-year old son had such a big smile on his face while riding it through the airport. My son (now 4) still loves his Trunki, and my daughter (now 2) was more excited about getting a Trunki for her 2 year old birthday than anything else.

Everyone looks in amazement as you speed through the airport with your kids in tow. Good way to increase your cool factor!

Great price and on time delivery - the Trendykid Trunki is not only useful for my four year old son to take on his frequent trips to Japan with his mother, but it is a favorite "ride around" toy when he's not traveling and holds all of his Hotwheels collection. He loves it.
