Tengo todos los CD's de Fiel a la Vega. Todos muestran una calidad indiscutible de musica y musicos. Pero este en particular, como decimos en Puerto Rico, "voto la bola". Sencillamente esta ¡BRUTAL!. Esa mezcla de Rock con musica Latina los hace unicos en su clase. Este nuevo CD se describe en una sola palabra....¡EXCELENTE!

I love Fiel a la Vega! Their sound and lyrics make you feel at home even if your not there. I'm currently living here in the States and listening to Tres as well as the other three cds makes me feel right at home, I can even feel the warm summer breeze filled with the scent of the sea. They are a great group, their music calls to your senses, and this mix of rock and puertorrican music is fresh and exciting. I had the opportunity to see them live at El RUM during the Cinco Dias con Nuestra Tierra college festival of 1995. Since then they gained a fan. I'm eagerly waiting for their next album!

What is wrong with "Fiel a la Vega"? If I were to make a list of the top ten rock groups of the 90's they will definitively be there. On those top position will be groups like Radiohead, Pearl Jam, The Smashing Pumkings and Nirvana. And still you get the impression Fiel a la Vega are only known within Puerto Rico, and totally unknown in places were other Spanish or Latin Rock groups like Los Fabulosos Cadilacs and Los Enanitos Verdes are well known (I am thinking of Argentina, Spain etc.) This album again is an example of the mature rock these guys can deliver. The previous album "A quien pueda interesar" is for me a rock classic, and you cannot even find it in amazon. With such an excellent material, these guys need to revise how they do their marketing. It hurts me to see such excellence from my home country going unknown. Fiel a la Vega at its best! A "Must Buy" choice. Even here in France, land of Mano Negra and Les Negresses Vertes and were Spanish is welcomed in the airways they could make it big if well introduced.

This is the band's 4th Cd, but it's the first one to be launched internationally. I'm quite sure it will be very popular amongst latin americans because it has a very rich musical composition, as it is common between these latin american spanish rock bands. I believe this is the band's greatest CD yet. It continues the political tradition that made them famous here in Puerto Rico but this time they come out with a more aggresive style mixing punk, spanish rock, and other rhythms in their tracks. Truly great!

Hell of a CD. But if you think that Tres is their best, wait till you hear the newest one "LA PROSPERIDAD". It's awsome!! Fiel is the best !

Fiel a la Vega son la mejor banda que ha salido de Latino America en los ultimos 5 anos. Tocan super bien y escriben y componen igual de bien. TRES es un disco excelente, entre sus mejores trabajos. Si te gusta rock, te va a encantar Fiel a la Vega.

Once every so often comes a group that reminds us what a magnificent art form can music be to share life's meaning with others. In today's world filled with special effect videos, pretty faces and silly phrases, we have gotten used to thinking of music as a mere entertainment form, needless of meaning, and driven by perceptions. Fiel a la Vega and "Tres" reminds us how great the art of music really is when you use it to communicate "what is real" in all of us. Their music is an artistic and superb integration of poetry-like lyrics and sounds that so effectivelly communicate the decotomy and marvelousness of being from Puerto Rico, from Latin America, from the world in this moment in time. Describing politics as having "too much of the old rome and not enough of the old greece" is one of the many methaphores that filled this album with interesting thoughts, one after the other, that hit you like strikes of cultural wisdom and leave you with a great aftertaste of reflection, awakened nostalgia, and curiosity. "Tres" will filled more than your airtime, it will captivate the mind of those searching for inspiring entertainment and in 5 minutes and a few seconds per song, will bring wit, meaning, intrigue, and challenge to their own way of thinking. The music is also great, for those that are just wanting to have good tunes to play. But believe me, there is a lot more to this album and group than what initially will hit your ears. Listen for the meaning in Fiel's lyrics, and you'll end up listening to them like reading a great book, always discovering new depths of meaning.

En este CD vemos cuanto Fiel a la Vega ha evolucionado, desde el primero, "Salimos de Aqui" hasta Tres. En este CD vemos la adición de cuerdas ( violín y piano )junto con la famosa crítica que caracteriza. Ademas de que el arreglo de guitarras hace el balance perfecto con el resto de la orquesta. Fiel a la Vega Tres es una nueva y muy buena experiencia que vale la pena adquirir.

...If you guys love spanish rock, then this is a must have for any die-hard fan. The first 3 tracks are superb and most prefered on the disc. My fav? Elipsis de una fuga and Memorias en la plaza. Check out their 2nd CD titled "A Quien le puede interesar"
if you manage to find it...I think that this disc is their best work till date...

ESPERO HAGAN UN TOUR EN U.S. Y SE PRESENTEN EN BOSTON. SERIA INJUSTO COMPARARLOS CON CUALQUIER OTRA BANDA DE ROCK PERO SI TE GUSTA MANA, LOS FABULOSOS CADILLAC ETC. Y EL ROCK AMERICANO PERO TAMBIEN TIENES UN POQUITO DE GUARACHERO EN TI EL DISCO "TRES" TE VA A ENCANTAR. Y ME ENORGULLESE ENORMEMENTE QUE ESTE TALENTO SALGA DE MI PEQUENITA ISLA.
