Undoubtedly, the music by Benny More that's on this CD is truly among his best. For his songs alone, the CD is worth buying. However, there is also Rolando La'Serie singing several tangos that we remember well. He also sings A LA RIGOLA, a very popular song when it was first issued.
Contreras is a vocalist I am not familiar with. I simply do not remember him from my youth in Cuba, nor his songs. He is not bad although his style is not what I would listen to for long. I must admit that his inclusion in the album did not lessen my appreciation of the music at all.
To those who wrote the cover for the CD I must point out that "cayo" as in "fell down" from the verb "caer"is spelled with a "y" in Spanish and NOT with a "ll." There is a word "callo" but it is from the verb "callar" which means to silence or be silent. Sorry, but it is irritating to see those mistakes!
