Lovely book but too small for research,

This is a little itty bitty book. It'd be perfect as a gift to someone vaguely interested in images from the middle ages but it's nearly useless for -real- research. The images are just too small to show all the details.Les Tres Riches Heures is a fantastic set of medieval illustrations done by the Limbourg brothers at the commission of Duc Berry between 1413 and 1416. It's far far more than just the 12 months included in this book. |
