MICRO X ARE THE BEST PRACTICE BALLS OR BALL MACHINE BALLS. I WAS A PRO FOR YEARS AND ALWAYS USED REGULAR ONES, BUT MICRO X NEVER GO BAD, AND THEY HIT LIKE NORMAL BALLS.

I bought 72 balls 3 weeks ago for my ball machine, I use the machine 4-5 times a week, each session about 40 minutes. I like the feel and the bounce of the balls. But only three weeks, 5 balls are busted already. I would recommend it if they last longer.

My Balls are great. Not heavy at all. I was leary with all the heavy talk about them. These are great and if your balls are too heavy you need some lessons to hit the shots correctly. great for my machine as well! I use them 3 -4 times a week in my machine and the bounce is great.

X Balls Great - Gammas Not So Good,
This review is from: Tretorn Micro X Pressureless 72 Tennis Ball Case (Misc.)
I have been using a bucket of X-balls for at least 4 years-in a ball machine and in practice with friends. The felt is pretty thin but they still have a true bounce. Not quite as good as regular balls out of a can but amazingly close. I just bought a bag of Gammas and they seem heavy and almost dead by comparison. I should have paid the difference for the X balls.

After the first usage, these balls seem exactly as advertised, and it's hard to tell the different between them and regular balls. Of course, the real test will be how they hold up after many uses. Stay tuned!

Only used the balls few times, but I'm ready to get another bucket to supplement regular tennis balls to have a more consistent response from the ground and my racket during a tennis ball machine excercise. The bounce is great. The durability of the balls remains to be judged. hoping they will last throught the spring and summer because they will be used quite a bit (10 hours per week).

Balls have been used now for 6 months in a ball machine and have performed well. Covers have lasted well on synthetic grass surface and bounce has been consistent

I've used Tretorn tennis balls for over 30 years. Playing at a high altitude (7,200 feet) presents problems if you use regular tennis balls, even high altitude balls. The Tretorn balls, being pressureless, retain their bounce even after long periods of non-use. You can use them in the fall, put them away in the winter, and they are ready to go again in the spring. I have a couple of the orignal balls that I bought back in 1982 and they still look and bounce the same 29 years later!
