Almost impossible to get on!, September 7, 2008
The primary problem with these boots is that the ankle is very narrow and it is almost impossible to get these boots on, and if you somehow succeed, beware, because it is also almost impossible to get the boots off! I had such a hard time with these boots. When I FINALLY managed to get one boot on, I could not get it off and had to have someone pull the boot off me inch by inch. It was grueling! They went back immediately. I ordered up a half size and the foot fit me fine so it was not that the boot was too small for me. It is just that the ankle part of the boot is not made large enough to get a foot comfortably through it. Also, contrary to the picture shown, the boots have a light "tan or rust colored" wedge. It is not black as shown in the picture.
