Jim Dobbs has written a book that brings the reader to a new level of dog training expertise in two ways. First, this book is the concise reference for trainers that use electronic collars. Mr. Dobbs spent years developing the proper electronic collar training techniques while working for Tri-Tronics. Jim Dobbs no longer trains dogs; he trains trainers! Second, even if you do not use collars for dog training, this book will still be the most valuable training tool in your library. If you reach a certain point in your dogs training and your dog is having problems, Dobbs tells you exactly which step to revert to in you dogs prior training before graduating to more advanced work. This is NOT done in most other dog training books. This allows the trainer to make sure your dog is not advanced too quickly in his training, and it reinforces the basics your dog will need to succeed. The training insights that Jim Dobbs has written about will bring the reader to a whole new level of competence and understanding.

The price on this book is way out of line. It can be purchased from Mack's Prairiewings for 29.99 plus shipping.
