Product Description

This high quality screwdriver is specially designed to remove the triwing security screws on your Nintendo Wii. It is far better than the fat, short triwing bit in some bit sets, or the tiny sharp ones that not only very weak, but also tends to damage the screws. With this full length screwdriver, you can easily access all triwing screws on Nintendo Wii, including a couple of very deep ones on the case. It is also compatible with other Nintendo gaming devices such as GameCube console and controller, DS, DS Lite, Gameboy Advance, and Gameboy Advance SP, etc. You can also use it to remove the tri-wing screws on some cell phones and laptops.

Customer Reviews

Works great and gets the job done.
Melissa Kinkade
The tip was even magnetic so that the screws stuck to the tip of the screwdriver.

I needed to swap out the battery and the trackpad on my 2009 13" MacBook Pro, but there's two pesky tri-wing screws on the battery itself, so I bought this screwdriver. Fortunately, this did the trick and easily removed the screws.

I'm a mechanic, and honstly i've had alot of screw drivers wear out prematurely - especially small tips like this. I've used it to repair the Wii nunchuks that my son broke the buttons on, and it worked perfectly. I see no reason I won't get good life out of it. Hold it in the screw firmly, go slow, then go to the hardware store and replace those stupid triwings with phillips head screws. And like other reviewers, the price was right...

The tip of the srewdriver stripped before the screw did. Never thought that was possible, clearly poor quality metal. Probably old mountain dew can or somehting. Also the tip wasn't quiet pointy enough to get down into the screws well enough. Like the one i picked up from another store better.

It works on the macbook battery tri-wing screws. I have a 2010 MBP unibody, and phew! It works. This shouldn't be advertised as just a nintendo tool, because a lot of people do mac surgery. Cheers.

I'm an Electrical Engineer and hobby mechanic. I regularly work with small fasteners and electronics. I used this screwdriver to disassemble my Wii which had a broken DVD drive. The screwdriver worked just as I would expect for any product of this type. Some people have complained about these tri-wing screwdrivers stripping the slots but I had no problems. As with any small fastener (philips, flat, tri-wing, or otherwise), you must position the screwdriver straight over the fastener, apply strong downward force, and rotate slowly. I was able to disassemble and reassemble the Wii with no problems and my Wii is working again now.

I bought this tri-wing screw driver after my husband spilt coffee on one of the gamecube controllers and I had no way of cleaning the inside. This screwdriver works great for removing the outer screws on the controller, but a regular small phillips is needed to fully access the L and R buttons from the inside. It doesn't appear that it will last very long, but for short term , infrequent use...it will serve the purpose.

I bought this screwdriver to replace the digitizer screen on my HTC Aria. It arrived in just a padded envelope without a retail package or product information. This was inconsequential to me because it worked perfectly and looks like the one pictured. After reading all the negative reviews about the screw driver bending and stripping, I made sure to use it carefully and had no stripped screws or screwdriver. It seems to be sturdy enough for multiple uses, but I probably won't need to use it again. The item itself isn't worth the $4.50 I paid, but this type isn't widely available, so it was worth the price to be able to do the job myself and save at least $50.

Mine was sold by BayCalDeals. This seems to be an important factor in the quality of the product you receive. I would recommending returning any product that doesn't match the description or perform as expected. There's no reason you should be stuck with a useless product. If the seller doesn't honor your request, you can file a claim under Amazon's A-to-z Guarantee Protection.
