I purchased 3 bottles at the same time for a bulk price deal. I have used 2 1/2 bottles pretty religiously every day/night. It is a good moisturizer, but it did little to reduce the appearance of my stretchmarks. I am filipino and don't know if my skin type possibly may have something to do with the lack of result. A Kid's Review
This review is from: TriLastin SR Stretch Mark Complex 6 oz. (Misc.)
Products I have used:

Mederma- smoothed skin area to the touch, but made ZERO visual improvement.

Stretch Renew- visually reduced scarring, but only while continuing to use the product. I purchased this cream multiple times, even won it in a Bodies By Design give away.

Emu oil- Used it, had an awful reaction on site where it was applied, resulting in reddened, puffy, itchy skin. (I have sensitive skin and allergies)

StriVectin- tried two tubes, it did nothing for my stretch marks, along with nothing for my face.

Treatments I have tried:

Fraxel- some improvement but barely noticeable and certainly not worth the price. Negligible difference even under scrutiny.

Pulsed Dye Laser- no improvement, none.

Quasi-CW Laser- again, no improvement at all.

(Laser treatments were all done by Dr. Key of Key Laser Institute)
On to the Trilastin review:

3wks into using the Trilastin cream.
Purchased a 3mo supply, without the hydrothermal accelerator. I didn't know it was available before I placed my order, or I would have purchased it. (didn't want user error to ruin my chances). It was after reading directions on the packaging that I saw it was recommended in use with "SR".
Have been applying it once daily, twice max (and not usually) on days that I work. I can't leave to apply the cream to my three problem areas during my work day. It isn't going to happen. On days off I try to remember to use it three times.
I ALWAYS prep my skin with a quick swipe of a 35% solution of rubbing alcohol. Moisture/dirt is going to prevent the absorption of product. Besides that, I want to get the most applications out of those creams. I use a minimal amount during application! Start with less and only add more if it doesn't reach.
Whatever I'm doing is working. My stretch marks are less noticeable everywhere. Especially the ones on my breasts. My hips are second most improved, but of course the deepest/most hated scarring is the least affected. My inner thighs are not showing visual improvements yet, but I am hopeful! The depth has been reduced significantly, but they are still that awful iridescent pink.
I have seen more of an improvement from Trilastin than all of my previous attempts combined. For fear that the results were temporary (like what I saw using Stretch Renew), I skipped using it while using normal lotion for three days. My results stayed, yay! Tried again skipping two days no moisturizer, still good.
I'm optimistic for more change; BUT, even if (knock on wood) this is all the improvement I get, I still recommend getting this and trying it for yourself.

About me:

I'm 26yrs old
Female
Asian/Caucasian
Olive skin
Sensitive skin that scars easily
My stretch marks came with a growth spurt I had at 15 years old. They're on my inner thighs, sides of my hips, and (now barely) on my chest.
I began looking for remedies at 17. I've spent thousands, but this 90 dollar cream has been the best.

5.0 out of 5 stars I usually don't do this, but..., March 5, 2010
This review is from: TriLastin SR Stretch Mark Complex 6 oz. (Misc.)
I'm really really impressed with this product. I don't have endless gripes about my physical appearance, but I was starting to get really down and obsessive about my old and new stretch marks. I received this as a christmas gift (per my request) and can honestly say, this many months later, that it's made a definite noticeable dent in my stretch marks. I think the people who have given negative reviews are looking for total disappearance. Please consider that there is NO product currently out there at this time that can do that, so any product that actually makes a serious difference in texture and color is a true success, which this product does. there is no cure for stretch marks, but trilastin is a proven treatment in my opinion.

Like most people i have tried alot of products out there and wasted alot of money. I lost alot of wieght and made a better body, yet,it meant nothing because i was cursed with strech marks. I found Trilastin and used it for a while and my co-workers was stunned at the results. I feel better about my body and i plan to order more Trilastin. I recomend it to eveyone. It also makes a great facial creame.

I tried TriLastin a few years back probably within the 6 month time period I began to get stretch marks (on my thighs), so I guess you can say they were still fairly new. Anyway, the product claims you will see slight results within the first few days and by 4 weeks or more the results should get better and better. After nearly 2 months of using the cream religiously (4 or more times a day)I saw no results at all! My stretch marks looked just as ugly as the day they first appeared (long, purplish red) , the only thing I noticed was that the skin on my thighs felt softer and smoother, but I don't care so much about the touch, I need the visual! When I went on their website I read such great testimonials, it was even featured on the Tyra Banks show! I just new the journey would be over, well I was wrong again. Thankfully it had a full money back guarantee if returned in the 2 month time period, you know the product is a little on the expensive side. All I can say to anyone out there on the search for a stretch mark cream that actually delivers, try TriLastin, it might work for you, it worked for some of the people on this site, you can always get your money back granted they still have the same policy as they did a few years ago...Peace:-)

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't Work, January 22, 2011
This review is from: TriLastin SR Stretch Mark Complex 6 oz. (Misc.)
Product doesn't work. Save your money. I am skeptical of all the good reviews this product received because the review sites always provide a link to buy the product and may be receiving a commission. Also, some sites don't give you the options to write your own review. I suspect at least some of these reviews and websites are industry sponsored. My wife who is young and healthy had mild stretch marks following pregnancy. We used the product over three months with no improvement.

1.0 out of 5 stars Save your money for laser treatments or thermage, July 20, 2009
This review is from: TriLastin SR Stretch Mark Complex 6 oz. (Misc.)
This product will do nothing for existing stretch marks. If you are pregnant or losing weight very quickly it might help prevent them. I used several bottles of the lotion exactly as the instructions recommended and it was a complete waste of money. The unfortunate truth is that the only thing that will get rid of existing stretch marks (especially those that have been there for awhile) is laser or other professional treatments a dermatologist might offer. Just save your money.

This product didn't work at all for me. I've been using the same tube over two months for a small patch of stretch marks around my naval. I used it 2 to 3 times daily and there is not an ounce of improvement. Oh well maybe I need to go ahead and try laser surgery :-(

This product is good but I thought it would have been a little better. My stretch marks are going away but still very much visible after a month of use.My stretch marks are over five years old. But hopefully I will see more results in the near future

5.0 out of 5 stars very happy, August 20, 2010
This review is from: TriLastin SR Stretch Mark Complex 6 oz. (Misc.)
I was very thin when I got pregnant and went up to 170 by the time my pregnancy was over. This led me to have horrible scaring from the stretch marks on my stomach and sides. I was so depressed! I have only been using Trilastin for a little less than 4 weeks and I can see a big difference. My purple marks are really fading and my skin feels a lot smoother with less ridges.

I do not know if my stretch marks will totally go away but I am feeling so much better about myself!
