Small, effective, cheap, portable, multi-purpose light & stove, no batteries, no spills, can't break, lasts a long time, stores forever for emergencies. Did a nice job boiling water for dehydrated grub on a weekend camping trip. While my buddy fiddled with his fancy stove and fuel, I popped the lid and flicked my Bic. I was able to read a book like Abe Lincoln and two nights lighting the camp picnic table barely dented the advertised 120 hours. Not nearly as nice as my kitchen stove and bedside reading lamp back home, but got the job done.

Pefect for emergency light and cooking. Heat not so much but can be used to start bigger fires for that. The grill setup will allow you to at least place a # 10 can on it for cooikng will boil water in a small can in about 12 minutes. a must have for all kits and cars or just to have around and start a conversation.

It contains everything shown. The Candle tin seems very sturdy, and I will probably reuse (add back in wax and wicks) it after it it used up.
It is heavier than I expected but still very manageable. I would have preferred if it had the first set of wicks in place, but I guess that allows for greater flexibility.

I have purcased these candles in the past. I always found them to be a nice addition while camping to add a little light outside your tent when hanging out and I liked having a few around the house for power outages. They give off a good amount of light and you get to choose how many wicks to put in depending on how long you want them to burn and how much light you need. The addition of the metal pieces to allow you to use this as an emergency stove is a great idea. You'd never really be able to cook anything, but I did boil about 8oz of water in 15 minutes over two wicks. This is certainly enough for a cup-a-soup or some instant oatmeal. I put a one qt camp pot over it and it warmed the water enough in 30 minutes for a few of us to have a cup of instant coffee. Not bad for a dual use product.

Throw one in your day pack and keep a couple in the house for emergencies.

Cool candle. I haven't used it yet in the woods, but it's got a great design that makes it double as a stove. The wicks are not put in the candle; so you can add or subtract them at your will. It's heavy but takes up less space than a stove and fuel canister.
