I got this book thinking it was Deathtrap Dungeon, from the same writer and the same series of books. This one is, as it turns out, a sequel to Deathtrap Dungeon. It's good, but I remember Deathtrap Dungeon as being much better. This one has less choices - basically, there's a long corridor, and you can either open each door as you pass it, or don't. Some of the doors contain important treasures, and some don't. But in either case, after resolving the room, you get back to the original corridor, and just keep going. I remember Deathtrap Dungeon as being much more intricate. Perhaps that is just the veneer of nostalgia, I don't know. Anyway, I would recommend getting the original before this one, and then if you like it, buy this one.
