Beautiful, but simple designs
This book may feature quilts made entirely of squares and rectangles, but several of the designs are really gorgeous, and even quite imaginative. (I strongly disagree with one grumpy reviewer's comment). Although I have been quilting for over 30 years, I still saw some new ideas here. I checked the book out from the library and liked it so much, I'm buying a copy to add...

Title was misleading to me
I was under the impression the book was going to show me how to use rectangles or another technique to make the triangles. I was wrong. It has only little squares. If you are into checkerboards, this one's for you. If you are have never quilted before, this one's for you. If you have no imagination, you guessed it - THIS ONE'S FOR YOU!!!

This book is for you if you are a quilter who doesn't care to work with triangles. It has many, many beautiful quilt designs with instructions like how much fabric you will need, how to cut your fabric, and how to sew the quilt together. The colorful photos of the quilts are also a helpful guide. Easy to understand and I have already made two quilts from the designs in this book. I recommend it highly!

This is my 13th quilt book, and I'm delighted with the way it turned out. The quilts are great, and all of them are very easy to make. The best part? There are absolutely, positively NO TRIANGLES in any of these quilts. Enjoy!
