5.0 out of 5 stars TR-3e
Hi

It's a well detailed model kit. Very simple to build, in fact it has five parts, but it is not a toy.
It's good to develop paint skills and with few electronics to light it up wolud be a great model.
It has enough space to accommodate leds fiber optics and a 555 to make lights flashing.

Landing gear is not to play with...

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice model, but small...
Now this model is pretty cool. This is the only triangular ufo model on the net. The only issue I have is that it should have been made into a larger scale. Its almost too small too handle. Be careful when your trying to build, the landing gear break off easily. I made a little stand for it so it looks like its floating. Pretty cool if your creative. You can do a few...

You can do a few different paint styles too. I painted mine a copper/bronze color, looks better than the grey color. Cool to have if your interested in UFO's.

Basically 2 piece clamshell. Painting is a must if you need more to make it worth the price. What makes this thing so costly, the box probably cost more to produce.

As a concerned parent, I would definitely hesitate tagging this as a toy. The two main pieces of the triangle model are large enough for perhaps a five-year old, the three landing gear pieces if attached wouldn't last long under rough play. Also, the three small pieces have tabs for inserting into holes that would normally be preformed on the bottom piece of the triangle, the holes are not there.

The model is too small to really do anything with, except developing painting skills.

I chose the term,"plausible", becase the TR-3-B is mentioned by Dr. T. Valone in Electrogravitics II, on page 127. The detail of the molded body pieces really makes the model interesting, and inspire curiousity, which is valuable for education. However, the lack of detail wouldn't hold attention long.
