Private Detective Dorian Wilde and his lover, Assistant District Attorney, Alice Rowe, try to prevent the assassination of the Mayor of the City of Philadelphia. The killing will leave the City government in the hands of three secret societies allied under the Philadelphes, a super secret group dating to the days of the French Revolution. The three societies, The Maccabees, La Camorra and the non Masonic Scottish Knights form a “Triangle” to control the City’s finances, Police and District Attorney. The evil conspiracy creates a bloody trail of murder, rape and betrayal. Facing mortal danger, Dorian and Alice fight the cabal to save their City and themselves.
