Format: Paperback
This book is intended for use in Wyoming schools, as a supplement to courses on Wyoming state government. It's well-suited to that purpose, conceptualizing the Wind River Indian Reservation as another political unit within Wyoming, much like cities or counties. It provides some historical background about the two tribes on the reservation (Shoshone and Arapaho) and general background on the governance of reservations around the country.

Because of its limited aims, this book (or pamphlet) does not provide as full an account of government on the Wind River Indian Reservation as I would have liked to see.
