One of my favorite books of all time,
By Kathy Connolly (Connecticut) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Tribal Warfare in Organizations: Turning Tribal Conflict into Negotiated Peace (Business Strategist) (Paperback)
Senseless frustrating behavior at work is much easier to understand when seen through the light of Peg Neuhauser's eyes. Neuheuser uses techniques from anthropology to teach anyone to understand the frequently ignored symbols and meaning that shape group behavior in any workplace. As an organizational consultant, I've seen far too many management interventions fail miserably because both managers and consultants were unaware of the organizational culture that drove outcomes. _Tribal Warefare in Organizations_ is a great tool for anyone who deals with people at work. Reading it is like getting a much needed flashlight in the dark.
