5.0 out of 5 stars So much fun! December 22, 2012

My kids call it the doctor game and have so much fun helping all the different animals. Even though it gets repetitive after a while, they hardly notice and enjoy doing the small things such as changing what the patient's beds look like or picking trash up from the floor. An overall great game. I'd recommend anything from TribePlay for younger kids!

5.0 out of 5 stars 2 & 1/2 yr old loves it October 4, 2012

My granddaughter loves this app. Especially now that she is addicted to Doc McStuffins..being a doctor to her patients in this app is a lot of fun. The child has to bring the patient to a bed in the hospital. She discovered by mistake that the beds can be changed...lights turned on/off...trashs cleaned...which I use as a tool to tell her that patients dont want to be in a dirty room....The only medical treatment that she struggles with is the one that the magnet has to be lowered and raised...She cant figure out how to do that one and will either bring the Nabi 2 to me...or just quit the game at that point. Otherwise...all of the other medical treatments she has to do ..she loves....Also she likes to have the helicopter take off from the roof of the hospital. Oh and dont miss the Panda's medical kit on the first floor...

5.0 out of 5 stars We've become a Dr. Panda family September 4, 2013
By Rob

Dr. Panda games have now been a standard for my daughter. When a new one comes out, it is a no-brainer for us to buy it for her. She finds a new one and excitedly brings her tablet to me and asks for it - no problem, I know it's a good game and she will enjoy it. Dev is cool too and has responded directly to us if we had an issue. You won't regret getting this game for your kids.

4.0 out of 5 stars Outlet for Creating Own Story Narratives while Playing September 10, 2014
Verified Purchase
Geared towards preschoolers, my impression of DR. PANDA'S HOSPITAL was of an interactive pop-up book. There aren't any "game challenges" per se, more in the line of limited discovery that inevitably leads to heavy repetition, which is what leads to the children's book feeling (after all, the nature of repeated enjoyment of books is still fundamentally repetition). However, HOSPITAL should give rise to children creating their own story narratives as they play, an worthy mental exercise in itself. "Well, Hello Mr. Pig. What a nasty fall you must have had... you dislocated ALL your ribs!" No wonder he looks so miserable... youch!

Network Access + Device State/ID: The Landscape orientation does seem that it will do well on phones as well as tablets, so other than as a form of multi-market piracy protection, the Device State/ID will work as an automatic game pause when incoming calls come in. The game installed itself at 56.45 megabytes total with 55.88 of it automatically on my SD Card (KitKat 4.4.2), leaving a tiny 588 kilobytes on my device, so the External Memory request works. Also uses the WakeLock permission to prevent the device from going into sleep mode while playing, but the back-key worked on my tablet for a clean exit. As for code modules, there isn't anything of concern.

The Parental Lock of the [New Game] advert and [For Parents] link is a "Tap the lock X number of times", but I hadn't any issue with playing offline. In fact, when I play offline, the [New Game] advert disappears. Also, on my second entry into the game, a "Rate Us" popup did occur, but it offered a No Thanks, go away forever option. Each screen transition has just a bit of loading delay, yet everything is polished without glitches.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 6 year old loves it! December 12, 2012

My daughter loves this game! While we are waiting in line at the stores or at Disneyland, she plays with it to keep her entertained. It' easy enough that she does not get frustrated by the game, but still challenging enough for it to be fun.
