The book is short and concise in its description of the Chinook Nation, giving a quick, but very brief glimpse of the peoples who populated the area of the Columbia River in Oregon/Washington prior to the Lewis and Clark Expedition. It is written in a style adequate for people from 10 to 18 years of age and/or for adults who are interested in only a limited overview of the subject matter.
