5.0 out of 5 stars Used Daily
I have an expensive and large Oster blender that I no longer use due to this Tribest blender. It is small. It cleans fast, unlike my Oster, and it is powerful considering its size. I use it daily, it has a small footprint on the counter, and it blends what you need for one person in the serving cup. I also use the serving cups and lids even when I haven't used the...

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay blender, but Magic Bullet is better.
I have a Magic Bullet blender, but decided to try this one to see if it blended my smoothies better than the Magic Bullet. Unfortunately, it did not, and it seemed to have a hard time blending the frozen fruit without making odd noises. The Tribest blender only has a 200 watt motor vs the Magic Bullet that has a 250 watt motor, giving the Magic Bullet a little more power...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great blender, December 26, 2008
This review is from: Tribest Personal Blender/Grinder
I have used this blender almost every day for about a year or longer. It still works just as well as it did the first time I used it. The instructions say not to put the cups in the dishwasher. After several monthes of hand washing them, I started putting the cups and blades in the dishwasher (no heat drying). They are still just fine. I make smoothies almost every day. I partially thaw frozen fruit and don't have to use ice, which would water down the smoothie. On the rare occasion, I have used crushed ice, but not ice cubes; so, I cannot give a review about how well it crushes ice cubes. The two blade attachment is great for use as a mini food processor. This little blender has made my life easier.

If you like drinking smoothies but hate cleaning the blender than you need to get a personal blender. It's the bomb.

Unfortunately, it did not, and it seemed to have a hard time blending the frozen fruit without making odd noises. The Tribest blender only has a 200 watt motor vs the Magic Bullet that has a 250 watt motor, giving the Magic Bullet a little more power. The Magic Bullet comes with a lot more accessories and I purchased mine for $32.00. The Magic Bullet still doesn't blend my smoothies as smooth as I would like, but it does work better than the Tribest blender.

1.0 out of 5 stars Defective product, November 24, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Tribest Personal Blender/Grinder
The grinder was OK but the blender gave sqealing sharp noise at the stop and I had to return for a replacement at my own shipping expenses but they just gave me refund of the product, $50.99 which I paid orginally $68.99 including shipping cost of $9.00. I did not get reimbursed for my cost of returning the product by UPS which costed me $13.19.

3.0 out of 5 stars Handy, but weak smoothie maker, November 25, 2007

We purchased the Tribest 2 months ago and it is already groaning and grunting and cannot handle our daily usage (two smoothies / day.) The design is very good, it is easy to use, clean, etc. But the motor is very weak and cannot handle regular use.

If you are a regular user, suggest you buy something more heavy duty.
