Very fine musicians playing Parker tunes in concert.
It was a LONG time ago that Charlie Parker walked the earth. Red Rodney (trumpet) played with Parker in the way-back and he is the direct connection on this video. Rodney himself has an interesting life story you should learn about. Good production for Parker and jazz fans of the era. |
