Decent as tribute albums go, but I'm not completely sure of the point,

This review is from: Tribute to Dead Can Dance: The Lotus Eaters (Audio CD)
What does it mean if you try hard to reproduce the sound of another band? I mean, try really hard. Few of these cover versions have much added to them by the covering bands. On the other hand, there are only a few "must skip" tracks.
I bought a used copy to find out some more about the bands who are making these covers. See if they sound like they're worth checking out further. |
