A raw, energetic tribute to the newest wunderkinds of the pop punk music genre, Simple Plan!
12 unique, punked up renditions of songs from SP s debut album No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls!
These Canadian lads have earned the respect of members of Good Charlotte and Blink 182, who helped make SP s debut a smashing success!
Simple Plan s debut album has already soundscanned nearly a million copies!
In the mid '90s a plan was made. Over the years, that plan has improved and matured (if such a tag can stick to such wild youth). Manic pop hooks played as convincingly at mad speed as they are when boys kick back into a solid groove, freaks tearing up the stage
with frenzied abandon...the plan is simple, and it's working! Like MXPX, Blink 182 and fellow Cannucks, Sum 41 before them, Simple Plan are finally getting the props they deserve and are as "it" as it gets. We've been following these kids since way back and even at

To be honest, I don't actually own this cd. But I did hear samples on other websites as I was considering to buy it, thank christ I didn't! This is without a doubt the WORST collection of covers I have ever heard, it sounds like drunken kareoke. If you love SP, don't buy it.

Simple Plan is a fantastic band! And I agree that they haven't performed enough to get a tribute, but maybe we should give it a try.
By the way, I listen to Simple Plan, Good Charlotte etc. But I have NEVER been a fan of the Backstreet Boys!! I also like bands like Crass or the Dead Kennedys (I've seen them in October), but I respect the other bands, because the world is becoming more and more commercial...
