To be honest, I don't actually own this cd. But I did hear samples on other websites as I was considering to buy it, thank christ I didn't! This is without a doubt the WORST collection of covers I have ever heard, it sounds like drunken kareoke. If you love SP, don't buy it.

Simple Plan is a fantastic band! And I agree that they haven't performed enough to get a tribute, but maybe we should give it a try.
By the way, I listen to Simple Plan, Good Charlotte etc. But I have NEVER been a fan of the Backstreet Boys!!
I also like bands like Crass or the Dead Kennedys (I've seen them in October), but I respect the other bands, because the world is becoming more and more commercial...

Let me get this straight... A (pretend) punk band releases one album and gets a tribute album. This has to be a joke.

I bought this CD because i am a huge simple plan fan! And it was HORRIBLE! These people have no voice what so ever and they just ruined the songs! I couldnt stand to listen to it after the 3rd song! I got it because im a big fan, so if you are then you can add it to the collection for looks. But beware DO NOT listen! Or if you do...do it at your own risk!!

OK, WHY??!! Where these people serious when they made this CD? Did they really think that it sounded good? Just curious? I heard the samples from another web site, and OOF! I can't believe what I heard! I am a huge SP fan and that was just sad, I never thought that anyone could take those songs, hell any songs for that matter, and butcher them the way that those people did. I sound better in the damn shower.
So yea, don't buy this CD! If you wanna hear those songs buy SP's CD. Yea, just don't do it.

whoever tributed this cd to simple plan must not even know who simple plan is. Listen to a bands music before tributing an album. If you like SP, you won't like it...

Simple Plan dont deserve a tribute album! Aside from the fact that they're poseurs they still make very repetative and depressing music. They just try to make millions in their big, fancy mansions! Well, at least they're not as bad as Good Charlotte or, oh God, HORRIBLE AVRIL LAVIGNE!! Because they admit to being pop! But still, they SUCK! Thats all there is to it! And from what I've heard this tribute is even worse than the band! Wow, plus the fact that they've only made one album this is complete waste of good plastic!

hey all of u dont get this cd. the singers r terrible. but those bands probably hated simple plan and tried 2 made them unpopular give that a thought

A tribute to Simple Plan? What have they done to deserve a tribute? They're just another MTV poser band made by the "industry". I know all of the other reviwers are saying basically the same thing as me, but hey, just wanted to get my point across. Please everyone, look farther than MTV for good music. There is much better music than "bands" like Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Yellowcard, Avril Lavigne, Ashlee Simpson, blah blah blah. This is just another dumb trend of music that is ruining real rock. I'm sure when MTV comes with a new genre of music that they say is cool, you will jump right on that bandwagon and say these bands aren't cool anymore. The people who listen to Simple Plan and all of those bands are the same people who listened to the Backstreet Boys. They just follow the trend that MTV says is cool.

I, like alll of you, am a simple plan fan. However there is a difference between us. I like simple plan because I grew up on the punk scene, I've seen them play even before they became more than a MOntreal local band, I actually am a punk, not one of you mainstream kids who thinks its cool to be punk. This album is a cover album, if you were expecting it to be good you were most definitely kidding yourself, unless you are really that stupid! A cover album is usually what people do to mock bands. The only cover bands that ever sound good are garage bands. So for a cover album yeah it sounds like Kareoke, but it's suppose to sound that way. Seriously, I am not suggesting everyone go out and buy it by saying everyone is wrong to bad mouth it because I agree it sucked. However, it is one of the better cover albums I have heard, and I just heard it listening to it on another site. If you've been thinking about buying it most definitely check it out first. Who knows maybe you'd like it as a Kareoke album. The riffs were played amazingly, it's just the vocals that suck. So don't let some little wannabe scenesters tell you that you won't like it, decide for yourself!
