some comments on the tribute, January 7, 2007

Tributes can be a precarious thing - some are amazing, some suck, and most lie somewhere in between. This one gets it right. With unique takes on classic Superdrag songs, it is solid all the way through. If you are a Superdrag fan then you will probably find something to love on this album. Some standouts include "A Staggering Genius", "The Art of Dying" and "In The Valley of Dying Stars". My suggestion is to at least check out the previews of the tracks to get a feel how well done this is. This is a great compliment to the new Superdrag album "Industry Giants" - I just think it is awesome that there is some new material for Superdrag fans - between the new album and this tribute there are over 30 great tracks to digest!
