Waste of money,

Do not waste your time, money, or hearing with this god-awful tribute CD. Sean McLaughlin (whoever the heck that is) attempts to channel Scott Weiland but comes off sounding like a strangled chipmunk. If you want to hear classic STP songs, go pick up Core and Purple.

Its cool and all you guys like stp and make a tribute album, but a tip of advice for you. I'm sure since your all big fans of stp you know that they covered dancing days by led zeppelin. Now think of how stp's version of dancing days sounded towards led zeppelin's. Nothing like it.. Stp did it in there own fashion. Scott Weiland didn't try to immitate Robert Plant, and the Deleo bros. put there own twist on the riffs that Jimmy Page created. With all that said, the singer tried way too hard to sound like weiland, and the music was mediocre. If your going to cover something, put your own flavor into because no one can immitate stp as well as stp immitates themselves. It's just not even cool to try.

I don't know anything about whoever is singing/playing on this album, but I don't think they had any business covering greats like STP. It reminds me of when local bands try to cover Plush in small, smokey bars and fall very very short.
